Dementia changes a lot
But every voice still
matters
We bring people living with memory loss, their caregivers, and volunteer singers together to share the joy of song — right here in The Villages, FL.
How it works
One chorus. Three Voices.
Each rehearsal brings together three kinds of members, each essential to what makes Melodies in Mind work.
People with memory loss
At the heart of everything we do — singing familiar songs from the 1940s through the 1980s.
Caregivers
The caregivers who show up every week, side by side, making it all possible. They are most welcome to sing, too!
Volunteer singers
Singers from our community vocal groups who lend their voices and their hearts so no one sings alone.

Melodies in Mind is a welcoming environment that treats all members as individuals, so 'I get by with a little help from my friends.'

It was an emotional and amazing moment when we sang at the concert to hear everyone sing out with such enthusiasm.
